Mongstad supply base - Mongstad Industrial Park
Mongstad supply base is Norway’s leading energy and maritime cluster and has the largest supply port in terms of tons over quay in Norway, and one of the largest ISPS oil and gas ports in Europe. Strategically located and with close proximity to the major producing oil fields, Mongstad serves as the supply base for 23 platforms in the Northern North Sea, including the important Statfjord, Troll, Oseberg and Gullfaks fields. Mongstad supply base offers access to high quality infrastructure and real estate attractive to multiple industries such as oil and gas, offshore wind, aquaculture, hydrogen and biogas.
The supply base is home to Equinor and approximately 50 service companies, including Schlumberger, Aibel and the world’s largest carbon capture testing facility, Technology Center Mongstad. The base is operated by Coast Center Base (CCB), offering logistics and port services to the tenants located at and around the port area. Offshore supply, including handling of goods, internal transport, customs, shore power, bulk and MGO are available through third parties located at the premises. Combined, the service offering available at Mongstad ensures accessibility and efficient operations.
The available zoned area comprises (1) ca. 100,000 sqm of central waterfront area and (2) ca. 45,000 sqm of developed land at quay-level. Both areas are located within the ISPS area, providing a broad range of port facilities as well as key infrastructure, including power and water supply, sewage treatment system, and fiber. Plot 1 is regulated for port, and plot 2 is regulated for industry/warehouse.
